In March, my husband Erik and I learned that we were expecting twins. This exciting news put us on the fast track for selling our beloved Old Town row house and buying something that could better accommodate four children. To the rescue to help with this overwhelming process was Jodie Burns. At an open house in early April we met Jodie, and within two weeks we had signed the listing agreement for our home. Jodie, seemingly, dropped everything else to get our house staged, photographed and on the market by within two weeks of meeting us. A nearly impossible feat, but one that paid off when multiple offers came in above asking price after one weekend. Buying went nearly as quickly and by mid-June we were settled in our new (and a bit larger) home in Alexandria. We can't thank Jodie enough for her tireless efforts to help the Milito family.

In March, my husband found out he was being transferred to Great Britain with his work. At the time, we had a daughter in college in Washington DC who was preparing to transfer out of state, we had a home we'd been expecting to stay in for the forseeable future that we were sad we were going to have to sell, and a few weeks later, we learned that my mother passed away in her sleep in her home several hours away. My experience in recently selling the family home with Jodie Burns was amazing! She was able to come into the property and assess it quickly.
