I had used the services of Steve Klintberg for the purchase of my home in 2001, and being pleased with the result opted to ask him to handle the sale in 2022. The condo needed some rehab work before the sale, and Steve and Linda were very helpful in prioritizing what should be done to maximize appeal to buyers. Steve and Linda were very proactive in providing contacts to do some of the work, and even pitched in to help as needed. It took longer than planned -- supply-chain problems were then in full force, and as usual with renovations, sometimes it felt as if everything that could go wrong did go wrong -- but it got done, close enough to on time and on budget to be in the ballpark of my original goal. Steve and Linda helped to navigate the sales process at a time that the local market was fast evolving from very pro-seller environment to a more balanced one owing to rising interest rates and affordability issues. Steve, I really want to thank you for all your work, help and support while I went through the home buying process. We met Steve Klintberg on our house hunting trip the last week of April 2011. Our original plan was to rent; but we learned quickly the rental market was competitive and there was not a house to be found which met our needs. We were looking for great location, move-in ready, spacious enough for a family of five, and of course, in our price range. I want to thank you for your excellent efforts in disposing of my property in Arlington, Virginia. The tenants moved out on January 31st. We inspected the premises the next day. I gave you a signed listing agreement the same day. The house needed some fixing up, and I was impressed with your knowledge of what was required and that you knew the people to do the work required. You got the people started right away, and their costs were reasonable. The house was listed in the MLS expeditiously and a great deal of interest was expressed by local brokers. I set an asking price which I initially thought was a bit high, but you accepted the price and went to work. You obtained a contract for the listing price with options to go to a higher figure if necessary.
